Sunset Engagement Session by the Ocean | Kayla & Ethan at Odiorne Point State Park | Rye, New Hampshire
On a warm September evening, the shoreline of Rye, New Hampshire was bathed in golden light as Kayla and Ethan celebrated their engagement with a session at Odiorne Point State Park. The combination of rugged rocky coastline, soft sandy stretches, and tree-lined paths gave us the perfect variety of backdrops to capture their love story.
We started our time wandering through the park’s wooded trails, where the late-afternoon sun filtered through the leaves, wrapping them in a warm glow. Kayla’s flowy white dress and Ethan’s classic look paired beautifully with the natural greenery, creating timeless portraits among the stone walls and winding paths.
As the sun began to dip lower, we moved down to the rocky jetty. This is where Odiorne truly shines — endless coastal views and the water catching every bit of sunset color. Kayla and Ethan shared quiet moments hand-in-hand as the horizon lit up in shades of gold and orange. Their laughter and natural ease with one another made every frame effortless.
We ended the evening on the sandy shore, where the two couldn’t resist a few playful spins and lifts as the tide rolled out. It was the perfect ending to a golden hour engagement session — romantic, joyful, and filled with anticipation for the wedding day ahead.
Odiorne Point State Park is one of New Hampshire’s most scenic coastal gems, and Kayla and Ethan’s session was the perfect reminder of how magical this space can be at sunset.
