    With over 11 years in the wedding industry and a 20-year love affair with cameras, Matt is the creative force behind VMG. Equal parts cinematographer, photographer, and editor, he’s obsessed with the art of storytelling—capturing not just what happened, but how it felt. From framing the quiet in-between moments to stitching together a wedding film that plays like a memory, Matt brings precision, passion, and just enough perfectionism to make the magic real. He's the one making sure your story doesn’t just get told—it gets felt.

    With five years behind the lens , Laura brings equal parts sass and soul to every wedding she captures. Known for her quick wit and uncanny ability to spot the moments that matter, she’s the one cracking jokes one minute and silently snapping the most heartfelt glances the next. Laura has an eye for passion and a sixth sense for when the magic hits—whether it’s sunlight catching a veil just right or a stolen kiss between speeches. If you’re lucky, she might even let you in on her secret to the perfect candid: “Just pretend I’m not here—unless I’m making you laugh.”

    With a camera in hand and a filmmaker’s eye, Jon has been capturing weddings with VMG for the past five years—but his love for visual storytelling goes back over two decades. With 20+ years of filmmaking experience (and probably twice as many hard drives), Jon knows how to turn fleeting moments into cinematic magic. Whether it's the quiet tear before the first look or the wild chaos of the dance floor, Jon’s style blends artistry, emotion, and just the right amount of mischief. He’s the guy who somehow ends up in the perfect spot every single time—and makes it look effortless.

    Standing tall in more ways than one, James has been part of the VMG crew for the past two years—bringing a bird’s-eye view (literally) to wedding days. As our go-to second videographer and aerial ace, he’s the one quietly capturing cinematic shots from the clouds while somehow managing to block no one’s view on the ground… despite being approximately the height of a pine tree. Whether he's flying the drone with Jedi-level precision or catching behind-the-scenes magic from the sidelines, James brings calm energy, creative instincts, and sky-high perspective to every celebration.
