How to Credit VMG Productions

You are welcome to use our photos and films of our shared weddings on your own website, social media, and directory profiles. All we ask is a credit and a link. Here is exactly what that looks like, from easiest to last resort. Use the highest one your setup allows.

The One Rule

Credit VMG Productions on every use, and link to us wherever the platform allows a link. That is the whole deal.

Why it matters

You scratch our back, we scratch yours

When you share these photos with a credit and a link, couples reading your page can see exactly who you love working with, and that sends work your way. We do the very same for you. On every wedding we photograph, we credit and link the whole vendor team on our own website and tag you on social, so the next couple can find all of us in one place. Credit is not a tax. It is how a good vendor team keeps referring each other.

Here is your credit on our site, live at the bottom of every wedding we publish:

Four ways to credit, best first

Pick the first one that fits how your site is built. If your builder lets you type a caption under a photo, use method one and stop there.

Preferred

1. Caption under the photo

A short visible line beneath the image, with our name linked. This is the one we love most, it credits us and helps us both in search. Works in almost every website builder's image or blog block.

2. A credit line in your text or vendor team

When photos sit in a gallery or slider with no caption field, add one line of text nearby, or list us in your page's vendor team section. This is also the standard fix for directory profiles.

3. Alt text, when a caption would wreck the design

For a full-width banner or background image where visible text does not belong, put the credit in the image's alt text field instead. Honest note: alt text is invisible to visitors, so it counts only for a hero where nothing else fits, not as a substitute for a real caption elsewhere.

4. A small credit on the photo itself

If your template truly gives you no caption, no text, and no alt field, a small credit in the bottom corner is fine. Keep it small and let the image breathe. We list this last because a caption almost always does the job better.

Credit in the caption, tag us in the post

Write the credit in your caption and tag our account on that platform. If a platform does not allow a link, the written credit and the tag are all we need.

A note on The Knot & WeddingWire

Directory galleries often strip captions and block outbound links, so the ideal credit is not always possible there. That is okay. When a directory will not let you caption or link an image, list us by name in your profile's vendor or team section instead, exactly like method two. A good-faith text credit is all we ask on platforms that limit the rest.

Copy and paste

Grab a credit line

The exact wording for the two methods you will use most. Copy the plain text if you are typing into a caption, or the link code if your builder accepts it.
